''We approached Higher Kinderfields Farm firstly as a location for a corporate team building event. After our first meeting it was clear Mike & Louise were super keen to help out - they gave advice & throughout the whole process they went above and beyond to accommodate any plans we ran past them. The field is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by sheep, wildlife and ... pubs. We used the land to hold a large event in a tipi with brands, food stalls & camping, everything went smoothly from start to finish. I cannot recommend this place & owners highly enough''.

We had the best time here. the field is perfect and large and it was lovely seeing the lambs pottering about. Louise and Mike were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Even lent us matches when we had stupidly left ours in the rain. There are some lovely walks around and even better some great pubs. We will 100% be back and have already recommended to others.
Thank You Jane
Mike and Louise were very welcoming and accommodating. Their field was in a lovely location and well kept, shower and toilet facilities were excellent. They were very flexible with where we pitched our tent and how long we stayed. We would definitely stay again.
Cheers Richard
Excellent location for exploring Peak District. It was a quick drive to nearby hiking spots, towns and caverns and we enjoyed the walking trails in the area near the house. Mike and his family were very kind to us and gave us many handy local tips to get around the area. Near to pubs that serve very good food. We loved everything about this nice English countryside experience!
Thank You Evon & Matthew
We had an amazing stay at Mike and Louise's campfield and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to camp with a bit more freedom than normal campsites. We were 12 guys on a stag do yet felt very welcome from the first second and all the way through our stay. Mike and Louise are super friendly and engaged. Mike was super responsive in the run up and helped to organize tables for us etc. While there, they helped us with loads of great tips and we're on hand for questions, yet gave us our own space to have a great time. The campfield is huge, the facilities are great and the shower is amazing! Hoping to come back again soon!
Thanks A Million! Nick
WOW! What a setting and what a top host! We were looking for something different to do for our friends 40th and thinking of renting a big house. All the options were pricey and needed to be booked months and months in advance. Then we spotted this camping option at £8 pppn. As a group of Glastonbury veterans it seemed appropriate. Right from the off Mike was super friendly, super helpful and quick to respond. He was happy for us to call and gave the lowdown on the local pub and its great food, helped us source a portaloo, generator and festoon lighting and set up a gazebo and brazier for us to gather and stay warm in together at night. Obviously camping is always weather dependent but as long as you have the right people and the right attitude it's always fun. We got lucky. The sun was blazing and the scenery EPIC....Mike has a fair amount of land and a quick hop over a stile and through a kissing gate, past a cow and the spring lambs and you have one of the most beautiful views of the English countryside you could wish for. For friends and families alike, this is a fantastic way to explore the natural scenery without any of the disturbances of modern life. In the evenings we popped to the pub for food before gathering round the fire listening to music and having a 'few' beers. On the Sunday Mike came over and had a beer with us and stood chatting for ages. It really was a pleasure to meet him and to stay on his stunning campsite. Top marks all round!!!
You're a star and thanks again from all of us. Ross and friends x
